Talking US-European Relations with Diane Rehm

My interview about Munich, Greenland, the Board of Peace, the State of our Democracy

When I first moved to Washington in the 1980s, I became a huge fan of “The Diane Rehm Show” on Washington’s NPR station. The Friday News Roundup was a must-listened for almost everyone I knew. And I was honored to be a guest on Diane’s show from time to time.

So, when Diane reached out the other day to ask whether I would come on her show, DIANE’s Substack, I immediately agreed. Our discussion ranged widely — including my take-away from the Munich Security Conference, the Ukraine war, Greenland, the Board of Peace, and how are allies view the state of our democracy. You can watch the full discussion here.
