Running Venezuela without Governing It

Earlier today I spoke with Boris Sanchez about the inherent contradiction in the US announcement that the US will “run” Venezuela but won’t actually govern. This disconnect between the goals we have set and the means we’ve chosen suggests this will come back to bite us.
