What's particularly galling (and obvious) is that Trump thinks *he's* in control. And I don't think we can ascribe it to his dementia -- he's always been this way.
Trump had ‘the cards’ but has been throwing them away again and again. It started with him denying Ukraine membership of NATO. Next he gave away Crimea. Them he gave away the Donbas. All with getting nothing from Russia. Ukraine is hitting military targets deep in Russia whereby it is weakening drastically Russia’s military power and oil supply. The tomahawks would strengthen this strategy greatly. Again the stupid clown gave away that card without anything in return. He is a worthless stupid deal maker.
I do wonder why it was only the FT that broke the story on his imbecilic rant against Zelensky. Where were all the other journos? Or does it simply not matter..
