What Caught My Eye (no. 47)
Some interesting articles and podcasts that caught my eye this week
Dear Subscribers and Readers,
I’m back, after three weeks traveling through Argentina, Chile, and Antarctica. It’s been an amazing and beautiful adventure. Rather than describing what we saw, I will share some pictures to feast your eyes.
While I was gone, Carla Robbins hosted two excellent episodes of World Review, Louis Broeg wrote great synopses of the show, and Ben Brist shared his observations on the articles and podcast that caught his eye. Thanks to all of them — and to all of you who read and commented on them.
As for me, here’s what caught my eye these past few weeks. Enjoy!

These visuals literally demonstrate why attention is such a scarce commodity. The leopard seal shot caught that perfect moment of raw Antarctic life that no amount of text could replicate. What's interesting is how this format—curating what caught your eye rather than full analysis—actually fits the information overload era better. We're all drowning in content but starving for good curation. Welcome back.
Thank you for sharing the spectacular pictures. A pleasure to look at over my morning coffee.
